Terms of use · calculaPy

1. Who we are

calculaPy is an app developed and published by Irundy Apps — Capiatá, Paraguay — [email protected] (“Irundy Apps”, “we” or “us”).

Contact: [email protected].

2. Acceptance

By installing, opening or using calculaPy, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The first time you open the app you are asked to accept them expressly; if we change them in a significant way, we will ask you again.

3. What calculaPy is (and what it is not)

3.1. calculaPy is a guidance and information tool. It estimates employment amounts (for example: 13th-month pay or aguinaldo, final pay, amounts owed on dismissal or resignation) from the data that you enter and from the general rules of the labor laws of the countries enabled in the app.

3.2. calculaPy is NOT a government app. It does not belong to, is not associated with, and is not sponsored or approved by any government, ministry, labor authority, court or public body of any country. Public bodies are mentioned in the app only to tell you where you can seek advice.

3.3. calculaPy does NOT give legal, accounting or professional advice, and it does not replace talking to an employment lawyer, an accountant or the labor authority of your country.

3.4. The result is not an official document. It has no legal value; it is not a valid settlement, evidence, expert report or certificate; and it must not be used as the basis for a claim before an employer, an administrative authority or a court. Its only purpose is to give you a rough idea so that you can talk it through with a professional in your country.

4. Limits of the calculation

4.1. The result depends on how accurate and complete the data you enter is. Irundy Apps does not check that data.

4.2. Each country’s rules are reviewed on the date the app shows for that country (“Rules reviewed: month and year”). Laws, decrees, minimum wages, collective agreements, individual contracts, customs, and the interpretations of authorities and judges may change or apply differently to your particular case.

4.3. calculaPy does not assess special situations, including: whether a dismissal was justified; special job protection; maternity or paternity; union protection; work accidents or occupational illness; informal, part-time or day-rate work with special features; collective agreements; agreements between the parties; procedural deadlines; or cases in litigation. In these cases the app tells you to seek advice.

4.4. Amounts are shown gross unless the app expressly says otherwise (for example, the pension contribution deduction when you ask for it), and they may not include other deductions, contributions, taxes or surcharges.

5. No warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Irundy Apps does not warrant that the calculations are accurate, complete, up to date or fit for any particular purpose, or that the app will work without interruptions or errors.

6. Limitation of liability

6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Irundy Apps will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or special damages, loss of profits or loss of opportunity, or for any decision, agreement, waiver, claim or action that you or anyone else takes or fails to take based on the app’s results.

6.2. If a competent authority nevertheless finds that there is liability, it will be limited to the amount you actually paid Irundy Apps for the app in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to it (zero for the free version).

6.3. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

7. Permitted use

You agree to use calculaPy lawfully and for personal purposes. You may not: present the results as official documents or as documents signed by an authority; alter the PDF or screenshots to hide the notice that they are for guidance only; copy, decompile or redistribute the app except as the law allows; or use it to deceive or harm others.

8. Age

calculaPy is intended for adults, as defined by the law of your country. It is not intended for minors.

9. Pro version, purchases and ads

9.1. The app may show third-party ads (Google AdMob). Ads are not part of the calculation and are not recommendations by Irundy Apps, and they are never shown on top of a result or of the legal notice.

9.2. The Pro version (where available in your country) is bought through the app store (for example, Google Play). Billing, cancellation and refunds are governed by that store’s terms. The Pro version does not change the guidance-only nature of the calculations.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its design, its texts, the “calculaPy” and “Irundy Apps” marks and their logos belong to Irundy Apps or its licensors. The legal texts quoted are in the public domain and are reproduced with their source.

11. Availability by country

calculaPy only calculates for the countries enabled in the app and is only published in the stores of those countries. If you use it from another country, the app tells you so and does not calculate.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always available in the app and at https://irundyapps.com/legal/aguinaldo-py/. If the change is significant, we will ask you to accept it again.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Capiatá, Paraguay, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that the law of your country of residence grants you as a consumer, including the right to complain to the authorities of your country.

14. Contact and errors

If you find an error in a calculation or a text, write to us at [email protected] or use the “See something wrong in this calculation? Tell us” button in the app. We review every report and correct whatever needs correcting.

Privacy policy · calculaPy

1. Controller

Data controller: Irundy Apps — Capiatá, Paraguay — [email protected]. Privacy contact: [email protected].

2. In one line

The data in your calculations (salary, dates, reason for leaving, results) stays only on your phone. We do not receive it or store it on any server.

3. Data the app stores on your phone

The data you enter to calculate and your calculation history.

Your acceptance of these Terms (date and version) and your preferences (language, country, theme).

This data does not leave your device unless you choose to share it (for example, with “Share” or the PDF). You can delete it in the app (History → Clear history) or by uninstalling the app.

4. Technical data collected by third-party services

To make the app work, improve it and fund it, we use services that collect technical and usage data, never your amounts, salary, dates or name:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): to see which screens are used, from which countries, and what fails. Data: a random installation ID, device model, system version, language, approximate country and usage events (for example, “finished a calculation” or “requested their country”, with only the country code). You can turn it off in Settings → “Anonymous statistics”. Google keeps these statistics for up to 2 months.

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google): to detect and fix crashes. Technical data about the error and the device, with nothing you type. Kept for up to 90 days.

• Google AdMob (Google): to show the ads that fund the free version. Data: advertising ID, device data and interaction with ads.

• Google Play (purchases): processes the Pro version. We only receive confirmation of the purchase.

• Our own anonymous counting (the app factory’s server, on Cloudflare): counts how often the app is opened and its recommendations, own ads and country requests are tapped. It stores only the day, the app and the type of event, with no device identifier.

• “Suggest a correction”: if you use it, we send the text you write, the language and the app version. Do not include personal data there.

These providers process data under their own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Running the app and keeping it secure (legitimate interest and provision of the service).

Statistics and improvement (consent where the law requires it; legitimate interest otherwise).

Ads: where the law requires your consent (for example, in the European Union), Google asks for it with its consent form before showing you personalized ads. In other countries, Google may personalize ads using your phone’s advertising ID; you can reset it or opt out of personalized ads in your phone’s settings.

We do not sell your data. We do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

6. International transfers

Google and Cloudflare services may process data outside your country (for example, in the United States). These providers use recognized safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

7. Retention

Your calculation data stays on your phone until you delete it. Technical data is kept for the periods given in section 4.

8. Your rights

Depending on the law of your country, you may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent where applicable. Since we do not receive your calculation data, deleting it from the app is enough. For technical data, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings, turn off statistics in the app, or write to us at [email protected]. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
